jimmy white Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 The day after your last race is the first day of the new season. brilliant saying :) so , so , true
DOVEScot Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Time to make a start on all the things that need doing before winter sets in - I've a couple of small fences in the back garden that I want to change and coat with preservative rather than paint as my birds are eating the paint flakes from them and I don't like that; I've to repoint a breather mortar joint in a brick wall on the loft that is letting in rain water - never done that type of work before so a bit nervous of it, and the big job is to cut holes in brick walls to put more ventilators in - never worked with brick before either and I am even even more nervous of tackling that job. Hire a core borer from jewson, and fit round vents, really neat I will get you trade price
DOVEScot Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 We will be busy as usual, new loft from Ferry for cabin boy's racers and rest of garden to finish once building is compleated ;D
