Guest coxy Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 Do city birds even have the homing ability? well there i disagree with the NO of course they do obviously for different reasons at the end of they day they r a pigeon its a natural intstict to home try just home to such things as buildings or under bridges wer they wer born just to prove this i knw an ova fancier tht caught a towny as we cal them put a band on its leg kept it for a few days let it go and a few hours l8 wen he went home the same bird wiv the leg band on was bk on the town centre he got it frm.

That does seem to be the case. My work always gets the same group of pigeons in the parking lot. There's one with a normal wild pigeon body, but a pure white head. It looks rather neat.
