DES COULTER HAS A FAMILY OF DISTANCE PIGEONS. THE BIRDS ARE PREDOMINENTLY GRIZZLE ,BUT THERE ARE NON GRIZZLE BIRDS AS WELL. HE KEEPS THEM AS NEAR TO NATURE AS POSSIBLE IE OPEN HOLE ETC. THEY ARE NOT TOO EXPENSIVE LAST TIME I LOOKED. YOU WILL GET HIS NAME IF YOU PHONE THE BRITISH HOMING WORLD-HE ADVERTISES THERE! MAJORPET
andrew Posted September 21, 2007 Author Report Posted September 21, 2007 Thanks i allready have some from him, just wondered if anybody has had much sucess with them?
mickmcgrevy Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 I had a pair from Dez, when paired together first year bred four to race lost them all, following year crossed them with my own and they were good. One cock as yearling won 2nd sec NFC Nantes and 2 weeks later won ist open Northern classic, another cock timed in on day from Saintes 538 forgot the position he won. So I supose I am saying, yes they are ok, I was and still am satisfied with them.
andrew Posted September 21, 2007 Author Report Posted September 21, 2007 Thanks well all i can do is test them if no good on pure i will cross them with another long distance family who knows thanks again look forward to hearing anybody elses experiences with them andrew

blackjack Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 I have done well with Des Coulters birds straight and X i have had them in the BICC,NfC and classic on hard days as has Keith Palmer from Swindon.Des is honest and straightforward and only has an 18ft loft he does not use antibiotics his record is second to none. Isuggest you go and meet Des and Pam and see for yourself.
blackjack Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Andrew you have had birds from Des for 3 or 4 years how have you done with yours and are you racing on your own now as i thought you were going to university and cutting back ?,
