best time to make them more likely to eat out of ur hand is when they are hungry.

peanuts are usually a good tempting thing to use,as they will love them when they get used to them...paul.

Cheers Paul, going to try the peanuts tomorrow night.  Really enjoyed having them peck away tonight.  One seemed to take a liking to my watch and my bracelet, (hope there is no magpie in that one!  ;D)

try some hemp to tempt them too,but,go sparingly on it !!!!!

but use too much and can make a good bird into a useless one too !!!!!

 

I'll see if nature takes its course before i give it a try and will be careful not to use too much. thanks for the tip ;D

i use hemp seed and peanutts i can get one on my head and one on my sholder  ;) just takes a bit of time  ;)

 

Thanks Sam, i am impatient but am really enjoying spending time with them, think i've fallen in love with them to be honest, they are beautiful

i was amazed wen it landed on my head as it was wen they wer coming in from a fly i was walking to the loft calling em i stood looked and there came my white rapido hen landed on my head so i walked to the trap she stayed on and she jumped in the trap lol

 

so now her nickname as i say is peanutt  ;D ;D
