hi all just setting up brought some rene van de weyers i have been told that they need a cross to make them consistent upto 300miles has anybody got any ideas of a good cross or has anybody had success with them thanks

i wouldnt cross them straight away,try them out first,u might be suprised.

there used to be a guy down mossley who flew these and was a top flyer in the border amal....

i agree i would introduce the cross in the second year of breeding you could very well be wasting your money on the second family before testing the van der weyer on there own

correct me if im wrong was not rene  related to karel herman...maybe his nephew and maybe the hemans are a big influence in the family...????
