due to the death of my dad 3 weeks ago i dont seem to be able to get into the birds at the moment so i am not going to pair my widowhood cocks up thinking of the celibasy system can anyone help with this i have a couple of pair of stock might pair them at later date  or just bring some youngsters in  any help much appreciated

Sorry to hear of your loss.

 

Remember reading an article that 'just mentioned' that the fancier raced his birds celibate. Implied that the birds were split and remained that way in race season. Hope the links are more help.  :)

keep the cocks and hens seperated and race them the same way cocks one week hens the next or in mid week races

do yourself a favour mate what ever system you use to race [if any at all] keep your birds when i lost my daughter one of the things that kept me alive was my birds

they [and trust me on this one]will help a bit

sorry to here of your loss, racer ,, its very early days yet to decide on what method , but if its the celibate method ,, its really just a case of racing cocks and hens seperately ,,and keeping them seperate , only racing back to opposite sex , theres many variations , as in any system , but keeping it simple is the best :)
