THE FIFER Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 I agree totally with your theory and it does rule out most on Pigeon Basics but certainly not all, There is a lot of members know our address, either though me, Chickadee or Cabin Boy as we have invited a lot of members to visit through PM's or through buying pigeons :-/ but surely the only people that can make a complaint about feathers in ur garden is someone very close, as to make an official complaint, it must be annoying the person complaining, cant see anyone other than someone living very close to u being troubled by feathers in ur garden, hope it all goes ur way and all the best. some people are just against pigeons, because they dont know anything about them.

That's exactly the the point, that's why it has to be a malicious complaint from someone just making problems for us Plus the woman next door where the only feathers have landed is on holiday, so it will be interesting the date the complaint was made, but as I have said I cut her grass anyway as a favour so why on earth would she complain :-/

DOVEScot Posted September 20, 2007 Author Report Posted September 20, 2007 We had a visit from the enviromental health today due to the complaints that were made He agreed that the complaints were unfounded as there was no nuisance mess from our pigeons both from droppings and feathers He was here about the this dove cote on the front lawn, I explained to him that there was a homing net there, but was cleared by the planning department as it was a temporary "structure". The homing net is now down and we now have this nice feature on our front lawn Hand made by myself by the way :) He asked if he could check the rest of the property and again we got a clean bill of health, pigeons, loft, food in vermin proof containers The complaints were made by someone, although he could not give us their name but it was none of our immeadiate neighbours and his words were " looks like someone just does not want you to do what you are doing" YES SHERLOCK IF YOU COULD SOLVE THIS ONE IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED :-/ :-/ :-/

Its pleasing to hear that the spineless b*st*rds efforts have proved fruitless, apart from causing you and your family some unecessary stress and aggravation.
