883girl Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Hi being a novice, i don't know the answers so i am hoping you kind people will help me here. Question 1. If you don't provide nesting materials i presume they won't breed? Question 2. I bought six stock birds, three cocks and three hens. I've been fortunate today to be given another 6 hens. The question is do the cock's mate with one hen only for life or will they mate with another? Any advice would be most welcome ;D

Depends on the cock, most will pair up with one hen and if left they stay with that hen, but not always. You can control the pairing and have the cock paired with a number of hens

883girl Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 Hi Dovescot, thanks for the offer, but we have decided to keep them and get some cocks to go with them. I'm not sure the new ones are actually logans, these new ones seem to have smaller heads and beaks, any ideas. ;D
