Guest Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 Wondered what the equipment range was? How far out have you been able to pick up the signal so far?
Joe90 Posted December 26, 2007 Author Report Posted December 26, 2007 the system is gps so the signal can be tracked all over the world the satalite is in space just like your car satnav system
Guest Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 If the transmitter came down to the same size and weight as the chip in an ets ring, it could then be incorporated in the proposed modern version of the ID ring. I think it would then be a massive step forward for the sport :- letting us know for sure what happens to the birds after they are released. opportunity to watch the race unfold on-screen. I also think the electronic side of it would appeal to the younger 'gamesters', the main difference being he/she has a live pigeon home in the loft at the end of it. And have posted before, it could catapult the sport into 21st century betting on the high street, and bring with it a whole new interest.
