darkknight Posted January 4, 2008 Author Report Posted January 4, 2008 thanks mate im going to use travis perkins there delivery is free no matter what your order but ill have to use OSB3 for the floor so ill have to use some sort of floor covering sand or sumit
DOVEScot Posted January 4, 2008 Report Posted January 4, 2008 thanks mate im going to use travis perkins there delivery is free no matter what your order but ill have to use OSB3 for the floor so ill have to use some sort of floor covering sand or sumit build your sections first then lay the flooring, that way you can replace it, or get 6mm external ply and line the floor on top of your osb and replace when and if you need to. OSB is murder to scrape, try treated tounge and groove chip board(caber flooring)
darkknight Posted January 4, 2008 Author Report Posted January 4, 2008 yeah i have been thinking about the scraping if i use grills i could put paper down and then no need to scrape but that ply is way to much i could lay single ply on top of the osb or hardboard
DOVEScot Posted January 4, 2008 Report Posted January 4, 2008 yeah i have been thinking about the scraping if i use grills i could put paper down and then no need to scrape but that ply is way to much i could lay single ply on top of the osb or hardboard 6mm ply is only about £6 a sheet
