Guest Vic Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Over the years, I have helped the odd struggling yellow out of its shell at hatching. Regarding racing, None of them were any good. Has anybody had any luck with "helped out" yellows?

Has anybody had any luck with "helped out" yellows? Absolute waste of time ;) & how anybody could think ????? (Not you Vic) that they could become their best racing pigeons etc, is beyond my comprehension I'm afraid. Enjoy.

Guest MBpigeonguy Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 i once did it with bantams! it worked, last year i did it with my pigeons but the chick died that night! it was 3 days over due and it seemed like it could not make it out!
jimmy_bulger Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 NO, if they can't get out on their own you dont want em.
Guest Vic Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Sometimes, the egg does not break in the middle, which makes their exit that little bit harder.
jimbobboy Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 jimbobboy: I did this many years ago and no the birds didn't amount to a row of beans!!!!!!!
