murphy Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 Our thread was called "Our Club Website (Spen Valley)" It was a really useful thread which guided us to many other clubs in the U.K. Without this thread we would not have found them, and we have met many other friends and enjoyed their club web sites too. Why our thread was removed I will never know. It seems to me, that after reading the fact that two other threads have also been deleted, we have had our freedom of speech, our rights and our sense of belong over ruled by one person. And, by the way, this one person has not replied to a PM as to why this thread was removed ! I will leave it at that. But............If you would like to visit our club web site: HTTP://WWW.SPENVALLEYPIGEONS.CO.UK If any other clubs have got web sites, please post !. We will all be very interested in reading how other clubs get on. Especially through the racing season. Murphy.
THE FIFER Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 murphy I dont know who or why ur thread was as you say deleted, you have posted that you know who and pm them, but no answer, if you have a complaint about anything being moved or deleted the correct procedure is to pm the webmaster, and not put up posts about it, the webmaster has repeatedly made this clear on many occassions,
paul l Posted February 23, 2008 Report Posted February 23, 2008 very good site hope its not moved intresting for all to look
Webmaster Posted February 24, 2008 Report Posted February 24, 2008 The thread was not deleted. After being left for a period of time to run its course it was merged with the thread 'My Website'. As is done with all (that I see) threads that are put on about 'our site' or 'my new site'. If the thread was setup to link to other clubs' websites I'm sure the wording would have been different. May I remind you the correct way to question a moderation move or remove is to message me, and await reply. I see that you did send me a message however circumstances are that I am yet unable to reply.
