pigeon bird Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 what flowers or plants are safe for pigeons, we had a green thing in our house when we moved in it had all red berries on it which poisoned the old birds milk giving us 8 dead yb's in the nest. any ideas?
Guest IB Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 If its a houseplant, according to the info I had when I was thinking about having them in the house many moons ago : all house plants are / should be considered poisonous. Also recall a newspaper article of some wag trying to impress a girl, ate a brightly coloured leaf from a plant in a pub, ended up in hospital. Article said much the same thing too.

Guest slugmonkey Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 I am suprised blue green alge is on this list it is an excellent supplement for mammals I have taken it and a friend of mine used to give it to his old dog after a couple of weeks his dog looked like a diffirent animal ! I have given this to birds before but never seen any ill effects but maybe I wasnt giving enough ???
