Guest Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 just an idea as we approach the stray season what about having a board on here called transport or something then if members post details of where birds need collecting/delivering to then it could be looked at by other members and couriers (ive already run this idea by pigeon express) and if they are collecting or delivering nearby they can contact member via site and see if they would like them to collect/deliver on route what do you think
Leroy Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 im not a racer but that sounds like a good idea. I personally commute 30 miles a day from central lancashire to east lancashire and would have no problems collecting or delivering on route, or being part of a larger relay
paul l Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 sounds like a good idea up to richard now what u think rich
pjc Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Can i also sugest that whoever coordinates the programme they work with feds and combines whose transporters are running up and down the country empty! Only problem you have with this plan is DEFRA and transportation of livestock laws!
carlsberg Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 good idea i always fetch my own and other peoples strays so i wouldn't mind helping out

jimmy_bulger Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 it is a good idea, but think young richard is more than busy in his last year at university,he does a lot for a young guy . no offence meant to anyone ,but the guy got to get his degree as well as run this site . jimmy
Guest CS Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 Great idea, agree with what Jimmy says about Richard (Webmaster)
