Guest mikkey Posted March 15, 2008 Report Posted March 15, 2008 Picked up 2 things:- There was a thread about Oriental Flying Rollers that are just too fast for Hawks, they're kept to prevent attacks on the loft because hawks soon learn they can't catch them, so they steer clear. Encourage the crows, they mob hawks and chase them away. Other wild birds take their cue from this and take to the air, getting above the hawk and so out of danger. Your own birds will take their cue from this too. yes ive seen my birds do this and the crows do help chase the damn thing away, ive also seen my birds fly very near to the hawk for some reason either they think their double hard or they want to get near to see what the hawk will do
