i booked online wednesday, to have 4 y/b' collected from jimmy white, thursday. i have to book online due to being in merseyside. we can't pay cash on delivery. i was awoken by amtrak at 7 am to inform me the birds are in warrington and can't be delivered due to them not working today. i explained they are only babies and i wasn't prepaired to leave them another night without food & water, so could i collect them. i was told i couldn't, but he is going to wales with his wife today, but i can meet him on a motorway that he is going to be going along. i can't drive, so my taxi (dad) is going to meet him. i don't understand why they booked the order if they couldn't deliver on time, especially live birds.

Why the hell did they agree to collect on a Thurs if the knew Fri/today wasa bank holiday!

Coey, whoever paid the carriage, I would demand a refund as they have failed to provide the service!
