Interesting, i did not know this was possible but it´s done with all sorts of other animals so why not pigeons, however i don´t see how this would be worth the money as you can pair your best cock to many hens and get lots of youngbirds from that same cock and don´t forget that the best ones happen by accident or luck

To me it sounds like this would be another contribution to the death of the sport, GREED, but the experienced and intelligent fancier already knows this will not guarantee good birds but newcomers might not and then feel sad when all thier money is gone for bad pigeons with super pedigrees.

AI has been done with many breeds for years!

Just think how many studs buy a bird and are selling dozens of children and grandchildren within a very short period of time.

I think its easier to use a bull box and feeders.

i think jos thorne bean doing this for years i allso think he has had sperm from sumo frozen to be used at a later date. just think you got a champion stock cock but hes getting a bit old get his sperm frozen and when your champion hen comes along you can put them together the cock might have been dead for years i think its great.just got to get the champion stock cock now ha ha
