Here's an updated picture of the loft. I've installed the vents, but they are not on this picture. Got some lovely air flow through it. I also managed to capture a picture of them in their bowl.

 

Hey Sue, I had the cock sitting on my shoulder today. When you hold them just open your hand and see if they stay. if they do stroke their backs lightly. My hen is not so nervous now, she's beginning to accept the hands but still attempts to run. the cock just stands there and says 'grab me'  ;D
