Guest dogeon Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 just to let everyone know if your birds had to fly over somewhere between wincanton and wiltshire they have proberbly been shot at as 3 of mine have come in shot and just had one reported at wiltshire thats been shot and only 10 mls from wincanton race point

big don Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 i think this must be a 1 off i race pigeons and i shoot once the season is over and you can not get mistaken the diference between a race pigeon and a wild pigeon . but i must admit you do get the indeviduals that shoot at anything that mooves , there is not much you can do unless you can cath them in the act . thinking about it what can you do if birds fly or be liberated over a private piece of land ? all i know is the shooting community im involve with know what we are shooting at
