pjc Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Hi Ted, Thame show is the Biggest 1 day agricultural show in the UK. It is always the 3rd Thurs in Sept. http://www.thameshow.co.uk Its a great day out. Thame is between Aylesbury and Oxford. There will be about 400 pigeons there, racers, show racers and fancy breeds as well as cage birds, rabbits, dogs etc. If its a nice day the show jumpings great to watch as a lot of the big names bring new horses out to try. Guest Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 You can do a pigeon show every week for most of the year if you are willing to travel,the only months with no shows due to breeding are march and april.Tammy and I are doing Bakewell show on thursday.

pjc Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Fancy pigeon keepers don't seem to bother to much about the moult etc as they are judged to a standard where as the Show Racers etc we want to be looking at there best! Phil
