i have the added problem of work commitments. I work for myself as a plumber and have to work long hours. just wondered if any one out there had any ideas on any simple plans on how to manage my birds next season and fit this in with my work. i have found it extreamly hard this year to race the birds and keep in a routine i need all the help you guys can give me.  like everyone else i am still learning and would welcome your ideas.

It depends what time you start in the morning. A twice-a-day routine may be possible, seeing to the birds before you leave in the morning, and after you arrive home at night.

look at what time you do have and try to find some system. for example i don't have time to train..but i'm fortunate to be able to fly open loft..blended to some set excersize routines.perhaps in your case if you could fit a small training crate in your van you could basket the night before (with drinker) and the single/double up as you travel round in the van the next day..any good?

Seeing as your one of the rich brigade etc  ;) ;) ;) the first thing I would do is, buy an electronic clock for race day etc (Worth there weight in gold)  ;D ;D ;D & keep everything very basic & also only feed once a day.

PS, & that's coming from another retired plumber I'm afraid. But I was one of the poor ones unfortunately  :'( :'( :'(.

Enjoy.
