Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 As a novice all i seem to be getting is the sport is done a few years it will be no more thats not what i want to be hearing so why cant we all just do something about it instead of saying this is what you need to do then arguments start so many people have ideas on how to get things changed but instead of acting on them just argue on a forum about them. This is no aimed at any one specific and im sorry if this upsets anyone its just my thoughts on what i keep seeing here on pb i cant get involved in the serious threads as i dont know enough but seems there are lots out there that have solutions so im asking, no begging why not put them into practice to save this sport so we can all enjoy it for what it is

Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 IF only every one else could see it from the outside the same as you .you are 100 percent right in your observations . it only takes one person to make a difference there is more than one on here alone that have great ideas that will perspone or even stop pigeon racing going for good so what is it gonna take to get something done. I would love to be sat here in 10 years when people say it will be no more and laugh and feel proud that we have chanced the outcome and are still enjoying it for what it is. come on guys and gals

Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 who would be prepared to attend meeting at readings if one was set up to put our veiws to the manager i wouldnt have much input but i would be there to represent us novices in the sport
OLDYELLOW Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 well that be blown out of water be down to club officals then fed officals then down to regional secatary still a lot of dinosaurs running around not knowing there extinct
Guest Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 you got it wrong WE ARE THE RPRA ,NOT THEM THEY ARE EMPLOYED BY US TO DO AS WE SAY .with out us they dont exist. Les that sounds like trade union talk of the seventies. Just put a letter in the BHW stating what each club should have o their agenda and every fancier will attend their club meeting to tell the RPRA what they want and then every club will send a delegate to region to confirm the propositions and every region at the AGM will vote for what we want ........... yeah right!

Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 sod the agm call a bloody egm whats the matter with you people you ARE the rpra oh happy days joe i have seen you get slated on here i personally dont know you so cant comment but that is the best idea i have heard on here make a stand some one it only takes one
pjc Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 every year propositions get forwarded from clubs, passed at fed, passed at region and then forwarded to be included with props at RPRA AGM to then be ruled out of order by the Dinosaurs if they don't agree with it! These props will have been checked by various people enroute so how can this happen? Phil
joe61 Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 this is the time to get something that will help the fancier dont let it slip by when you go to your clubs this week ask members to sign a pertition see how meny you get theres 3000 members on here if you get 4 signitures each thats 12000 it will be a start get it off the ground put results on pb oh happy days
joe61 Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 phil you could do but it would have to have union members names and have print out so could be checked at rpra also to send to region secs so they would know what was wanted to call an egm but i think a pertition at club level to see how meny sign it so you know how to take it forward oh happy days
