Guest strapper Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 ive just found out in the only three(last three) races of the youngbird season in the welsh north road fed s/ east route, this wot i scored. being the most north club in a south east route 1st race swindon i was... 24th 26th and 30th section north 695 birds 2nd race newbury i was.... 13th and 18th fed 2,124 birds..13th and 17th section 832 birds. 3rd race newbury i was 7th and 36th fed...1,602 birds....7th section 595 birds. this has meant more to me as i had personel health probs ,plus i had a fly away losing 20birds around the loft, then problems with youngbirds ..sickness the 1st week of racing and then later on they had a virus which polished off several good youngsters for me. i had to wait till the comebacks to start racing again because they was too far up the race programme. i had 27 youngbirds left which i thought oh well ill have to do with wot i got ,losing some of my better bred young to one thing or another. i lost 4 in the 1st race 2 in the second and 0 in the 3rd...finnishing with 21 birds out of the 27. so a little bit of joy to a dreadfull season .

Well done. Nice to see your fed has so many positions.
Guest strapper Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Well done. Nice to see your fed has so many positions. fed prints out 1st 50 pos and gives out cards for the 1st 20 pos only. thought this was the usual thing done in feds...how many does urs give out?
Guest Paulo Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Good idea as it means more prizes for people. Most organisations where I race only award the first 10 positions for the fed and only print the first 10 as well. In the glory days of pigeon flying it was only the first five fed! Shame really as I would have had a lot more of positions by now. Been missed out of the first 10 by seconds on numerous times. 11 fed and 12 fed etc Good idea to print 50 positions as lets people know where their birds have come compared to others
billy wilson Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 our fed only prints the first ten to sacriston fed used to print first 20 paulo
