Can anyone here help me you getting a machine for bird ringing? New or used one. I am planning to own a bird-ringing machine to serve my bird's community in my area.

Thanks

Well, we also need the machine for lettering (engraving). It's got to be for mass ring production not less than 200 rings a day. We have a big birds and pigeons community here in Saudi Arabia.

In fact we have this machine in some parts of Saudi Arabia and my friend would like to own one for his business.

You would not believe if I tell you that precious or rare pigeon community in Saudi Arabia are people from middle and low class, not rich. Check this link for some permanent ring pics.

this is why i questioned the need for a ringer, metalic rings will have to be put on in the 1st few days of being born, unless he means a ringer like the british bird council uses to close open rings and seal them...as they put on swans etc.

hi Paul

Metallic rings will have to be put on in the first few days of being born. Birds owners never trust sealed rings like the one used for swans.

forgive me but were you not asking for a ringer?

i cant understand why you would need a ringer for putting  rings on youngbirds?

because just about everyone i know uses their hands to do this easy job.

im lost why you want a ringer, because you cant stretch metalic rings , unless ive been off the planet for a few years then ive never heard of a ringer for youngsters has anyone else....??

You did not get me Paul. The machine is not to put the ring. The machine will produce rings with permanent lettering.

You insert a pipe inside the machine then you'll type the code any code, then the machine will produce any number of rings out of this pipe. Then of course, you'll use your hands to put on the ring on the bird.

I just realized the difference between a ringer machine and a ring making machine .. lol. It's the language problem.

Pjc, thank you so much. I already emailed them
