Guest TAMMY_1 Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Would like to clear up any misuderstanding regarding the Irish Fanciers and their birds which were at the show in Germany, the birds were taken on the coach free as far as I know to help out the irish fanciers who were flying from germany, the birds were taken on the coach on the understanding that they could not be brought back on the coach as the folk that were travelling the journey on the trip would all be returning with birds they would be buying themselves so there would be no room to bring back 100 irish birds if they failed to sell and they were happy to abide by this , ,the coach space was absolutely full with birds that were bought by the english fanciers , so regretabbly there was absolutely no room for the birds but all of the birds were re homed.
Merlin Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Perfectly understandable Tammy,100 birds does take up a fair amount of space, definitely some lucky fanciers around Germany, those that received these birds regarding the stockmanship of these Irish fanciers,no doubt top class birds.
