In my country majority competions ist for join,ist not for money.Pigeons ist a hoby not a bussines.Majority birds don't have pedigree,fanciers buy a pigeon because ist beautifil not for sale.What ist your opinion?

as we race them we go on the winning performances of their parents

As shadow says, it is the winning genes we look for and if we buy birds we try and buy the winners if we can't buy the breeders of winners if not then we look for birds as near to the winners as possible. A pedigree is only a piece of paper!
