locks a thread any way i think there should be sale it would be better to have a lot of money soo more people could be helped in stead of haveing to eventually turn people down

 

I dont see any benefit to anyone if the Pigeonbasics Fund has more money in it than is necessary at any one time.

 

Last year we donated over £1,000 to Pigeon Fanciers Medical Research for this very reason. The money is only any good if it is being used. Sitting on a bigger pot doesnt do anyone any good. Now as long as the fund has enough to cover a number of applications - giving us enough time to organise an auction if there are a flux of applications - I dont see any point in adding to the fund.

 

Better would be to raise the money for all or in part another good cause to benefit pigeon fanciers.

 

Anyhow, all of this is idle chat when no firm decisions have been made. I will post up as and when things happen.
