Guest strapper Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 the petrols gone down to 82p a litre here in town at one garage but i wonder if this will bring down the costs of the federations that made the increase in fuel to hike up birdage prices last season?....will they do the honourable thing and use the same reason to lower it?... whats the lowest price of fuel in ur area?
bewted Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 here i believe is 86p,but,dont quote me on that as apparently there going to put it down or have already put it down now from when i was there few days ago !!
Geraint Parry Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 it has been 85.9p / litre but Diesel doesn't seem to be dropping very fast. Birdage still only 30p per bird in these parts.
Guest strapper Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 35p after 20 birds here wnrf....i think there is another supermarket price war on ..tesco has dropped theirs by 3p a litre.
rooster colburn Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 with ref, to fed's lowering prices, i d'not think so, in Southampton prices in local tesco petrol 82.9 diesel 97.9,
bewted Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 what i would like to know is ; if,tesco are buying in bulk, why the differance in prices in differant places ?
rooster colburn Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 ask tesco, i have acount with texco, and the prices change from town to town.
Guest strapper Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 a lot of the places buy it from the same supplyer.......its strange how some still insist its dear, when reports show a different senario.

OLDYELLOW Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 I think there is more chance of pigs flying than the feds lowering their prices. A supermarket price war is what we all need both on the petrol front and the food front. That lobster i paid £18 for two months ago now costs £27 - Disgraceful ;D suprised you dint start a lobster stud lol , i think lobster is ok but i think its over rated i prefer crabs more taste
