Hi Guys

Just thought I'd post a little message, basketting for my first race is this Friday - I'm very excited! Although hve just found out about all the fees I have to pay every week with the fed, clock fees, bird fees but I'm sure I can beg, borrow and steal to cover them.

The race is Hullavington which is about 40 miles from me.

My birds are doing 9 miles in about 25 minutes training, does this seem slow? I am not too concerned about not winning, but I am worried I'm going to be way behind everyone else. Still, I am a beginner.

Many Thanks to Mac1 and Bewted for the young birds they have supplied me with generously - all are doing well!

good luck with them, but make sure they have had enough training and if they are not ready then leave them at home, don't throw them away for the sake of sending to your first race!

Patience is the name of the game.
