Terry Lodge is very much alive and kicking  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

He is Joe Longthorns manager.

The last I heard he hasn't gotany pigeons anymore and he was looking at emigrating to Spain or somewhere like that

I thought I saw very recently an entire clearance of birds from Terry Lodge?? Thunderbolt as to your question, He's a Barnsley man, his father was reveered in the Mapplewell area and I beleive he was well known nationally and viewed upon as a man of integrity. Terry Lodge in many quarters was not viewed with the same admiration. He was and still is what I would call a wheeler dealer. I must say I never met the man but when I flew in mapplewell club with some terrific fanciers I heard many an anecdote.

I think he was very underestimated though ne bought soome terrific birds over from the continent, I've only seen the odd few but they were all in my opinion good quality. He also produced several videos, again lots think they were of poor quality. For my part they were the most influential for me.

If you happen to have the chnace of any Aria Visser birds or Van Eijden that are close to the originals he brought over I would give them serious consideration.

He is in showbiz now and the last I heard in 2004 he was peroxide blond with a medallion around his neck.

Not many will agree with me but hey what's new! ;D

They were sold. Problem is they weren't that fashionable and were associated with Terry. I think many have probably been culled without having a real chance but then again you will I'm sure find the odd fanciers who have done very well with them and keep quiet. It's a bit like the van braunes, there is a chap called Graham Moss who had direct children of Bennett's best, including several sons of Hermes. And they have been terrific pigeons for several fanciers including the guy who does well at the Lerwick into London. He supplied one of the parents of Patrick Bros NFC Pau winner if I remember correctly and Mr Walker up Ripon way had a fantastic stock pair out of them. Graham still sells birds but they may be diluting now? I dont know because he doesn't race them.
