There is a better chance of a national being won in the west if the national race points are out the east.Fanciers in the west need all the advantages they can get as it is a lot more difficult racing into the west.

Fed racing has no bearing on that.

but they have to  brake up the west for us to win s.n.f.c

got to slightly disagree with you on that point vincy if you lose most of your nat contenders with a fed thats murdering them down the west coast you wont have any left to race and as most know i dont agree with allot of the things the shu have done in the past 1 thing i do was the survey they done regarding the east/west thing they spent thousands of pounds on it and the outcome was not to race the west coast but some fanciers still  think they know better and murder their birds down that coast the fanciers that push the west do so on purly selfish grounds as has been stated on this thread for overfly in fed racing

Raced down the west last season frank,and to be perfectly honest did not fare any worse than any other season so far.Although a lot of the fed did get slaughtered.I can only go with my returns,The race Worcester last season was a real snorter for lanarkshire fed,personally i lost 5,one of them being 42nd open reims 2007.But the south fed also had a very difficult race that day out of the east with comparable returns.Lanarkshire fed were blaming the west route,so what was the problem with the south that day they were down the east.So on that basis i am undecided.

fair point vince you can only go with your experiencies  my time down the west was that i could never get a decent team for nat racing most lost before 2yr olds

i think you will be talkin about leicester race as we were with s/lanark that day a stinker it was . i lost 9 cracking yearlings that day and none ever returned or got reported .

and my thoughts on this is leicester is more to the center of the country than most other so called east coast race points , therefor would come up a different line maybe to the west of the pennines instead of the usual east.

That's right Stuart it was Leicester,so for me the west thing held no relevance.

   Cant quite remember but as i say no poor excuses were comming from my loft last season.That is just pigeon racing,think a lot of fanciers could have been better served takeing a look at themselfs rather than racepoints.

KEEP going east with the fed and no one will ever win the NATIONAL IN THE WEST

to me when there are big loses,  i all ways  have  a thing about  this,  is  army maneuvers

or our birds are exposed to the r.a.f on these days,  and are fried as i have seen those fighter planes at close hand,  when  the test pilots  take them out  to  test  the noise and the  propulsion these things make, and its when it has went past you, it makes  yer chest and ribs play a tune, if pigeons come any where near these beasts, it good night as the fumes,  must and flames  douse the air around the  birds,  and the possibility it been  fuel  on the birds must to a  extent  give the  bird no protection through the air  and hit a chill factor that will put them down , as we notify the airport of our existence the RAF can use us as invaders  and scramble   planes   we have a metal ring on the  birds and it must show up on radar i would think  if there are 10,000 birds on the way up the country what  do you guys think  :-/ and aluminum being 90% of a planes make up

With these planes doing the speed of sound,the pigeons might get a wee fright similar to ourselves.Within seconds they are gone,and normal service would resume.Like the bit about the 10000 rings on the radar that's a cracker mate. ;D ;D ;D
