retired Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 Would rather use the 70,000 euros to buy a property and rent it out myself - Seems a little less risky that the risk of finding the bird dead on the nest three weeks after buying.

Good point about finding the bird dead, but i don´t know how things are abroad but here in Iceland i can buy all sorts of insurence for my animals.

gangster Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 you cant take it with you when you go lads so spend it on pigeons jmo oh happy days no true but leaving it for your children n g/childrens a better option ...
OLDYELLOW Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 wonder how many more birds will be given the strain name to sell at these crazy prices ?
joe61 Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 no true but leaving it for your children n g/childrens a better option ... yes but you and i know mick, buying the parents or top pigeons themselves cost more than the children... whatever the strain or family of birds.... would you not agree oh happy days
gangster Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 i believe him 2 be a top stockman as i know he bought birds from lier market a few years ago and won out of turn with them also the white grizzle that mike ganus bought was a stray that dropped in going on to be a top producer
gangster Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 i think we crossed wires joe i mean id rather leave the money 2 my children than waste on a single bird
gangster Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 and yes i do agree..a better option 2 buy children from the best producers is a better investment
joe61 Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 and yes i do agree..a better option 2 buy children from the best producers is a better investment i would prefer the producers themselves and have many many children at my disposal rather than 2 or 3 .. thats a better investment.. mick you and i know the people who spend that sort of money have millions and it has no relevance to them ..money grows on trees to them. but depends how bad someone wants something.. oh happy days
