hi there i wont be racing next season so is it possible to keep pigeons on dummy eggs all the time and not hatch any , or is it bad for them not to rear any young? regards  lc

be fine but i simply wouldnt pair them at all , unless you wanted to put a few in breeder buyer races or one loft races

yes thats what i would do , you never you could get a good draw and at same have your birds tested under different managements

i've had widowers that havent reared in the past , but they fly beter if they have reared that season if racing as gives them a incentive and love of home and there box is all they want

could always breed afew sell them and donate some monies to children in need or cancer ie good charities

you could always breed them for others as i like them all to rear at least one young each year keeps them loving there home
