Benzing G2

Need Help Please  

Have purchased a benzing g2.

I have been able to load up to where i can register all my rings but can't seem too get past where I can register the chip rings to match with bird rings.

The club unit is Unikon and we have been told that the benzing is compatable with Unikon.

Do  you need the benzing club unit too register your rings or can it be done through Unikon unit

 

Everytime we press the link to find the chip ring the comp says "not find" and then freezes.

Does anyone have a Benzing that they have connected to a unikon  that can help us .

you will have to select the comm port.. go to options and then comm ports,, I think its comm port 4,, but you will have 1 or 2 in bold,, just click on them and try it again.. but if you have a g2 and bought it from benzing you are entitled to a master system.. I run the benzing m1 for the club,, been hard work but all sorted now..

 

so click on options then comm port then click on the bold one.. ours is comm 4.. they don't tell you any of this when you buy it,, I have solved soo many probs on my own benzing should be paying me..lol..

Can we register our Benzing rings on a Unikon ring marker  

And Ant thanks for your help haven't been able to try it you but could we please have ur phone number  through pm just in case we are still sruggling to set things up.

The club unit is at a friends and he is out at the moment so can't check out wether your directions work yet.

We have also been told that we can't have more than one club unit  (ie a unikon and a Benzing)is this correct

right I have spoken to your mate and no comm ports are highlighted.. If you get the converter lead it will work,as a comm port will then be available to use.. , but If I was you I would ring benzing and get a master for your club,, It is soo much easier with the master for the system..

 

Give benzing a ring in the morning and they might tell you how to do it with the old lead,,but I can't see how.. I expect they will tell you that you need to buy the converter lead for the cable to usb.. They cost about £25.. but why should you have to buy them..

 

so ask them for a master for the g2.. tell them you need it..

 

best of luck and give me a ring if you need help.. once you get the master it is quite simple..lol.. ring my house number after 5pm and it will cost you less then..
