i know what your saying chris m8.......all the birds i sold back b4 xmas only bob has bothered to transfer them.......all sales were given signed transfers, trouble is now.......if them birds escape, guess who has to sort out the hassle of returning them...so i say have a little bit of genuine courtesy those that buy and get them transferred ,it helps an innocent person having to send for birds that has escaped from YOUR lofts!!....that you now own!

i must admit i have been lazy when it comes to transfers the only thing i can say in my defence is that all the birds that i brought have my name and address rings on so hopefully the first thing the finder looks at will be that rather than the union ring, still no excuse

We get fed up too when people buy birds from us and then fail to send the form off because ultimately we are responsible for the courier costs should any of them become strays. We don't ask silly money for our birds so it would cost us more to get the bird back than we got for it in the first place!,it's just abit of paper,it only takes a minuute to send it off and besides birds not in your own name are being raced or shown illegally

Why don't you as the vendor, charge the new owner the fee  for the transfer and send it yourself, then you'll know it's been done :)

Thought about this before but since alot go via courier it would mean forging the new owners signature
