Guest Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 No surprise there Boxer, maybe you should ask the man, or ask him for you share of the Europa 500 entry fee. Think we all know the answer.
Guest numpty01 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 once race and sale is over you no longer own the bird but if not transfered as most aint then you still do ;D ;D ;D

Guest tom123 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 read the small print on entry the first 100 pigeons will be auctioned and the remaining pigeons are at the europa discreation to sell or hold onto
Guest numpty01 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 ;) did you recaive youer side of transfer for the birds you put into the race in first place :-/ :-/ :-/
Guest Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 The first 100 birds home in the main race will be sold by auction, and the proceeds equally shared after the auctioneers expenses between the person who originally entered the bird into the race and the race organisers the date of such auction/s, will be confirmed by the auctioneers. All other returned birds will become the property of the race organisers and will be disposed of by the race organisers as they see fit, to race or breed future venturer entries or be sold. More money for him
Guest tom123 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 it clearly states the conditions on the first page of the entry sheet sgned by the competetor on entry
Guest numpty01 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 then get the bird back and dereck will have to refund buyer for 500race or give it to you for free
Guest numpty01 Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 it clearly states the conditions on the first page of the entry sheet sgned by the competetor on entry flown under rpra rules these birds were to be transfered to dereck and yet again they have not been and last year after refusal of licance then meetings to sort out problems he should have transfered them nver mind sell or give um for yearling race

Guest spin cycle Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 if it hasn't been transferred and it gets lost who has to send for it/pay. do they carry 'europa' wingstamps?
carlsberg Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 they do carry europa wingstamps but most are inelligiblle as i got one in last season and have reported it twice and never had a repsonse so going to send it back to reddings as unclaimed
S.D.B LOFTS Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Had one like carlsberg reported it to rpra last year not regisered anywhere but had a faint wing stamp with europa on it what do i do now has it flying out now ? :-/ :-/
carlsberg Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 report it to rpra i did and still not claimed i first reported it on 5/8/08 and not claimed so bird has been flying out reported it again on 8/3/09 so even if the owner wants it back it is more than likely settled
pjc Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 As norm the RPRA prob won't do a thing! Look at region meeting minutes, each time there are members being suspended for non payment etc but i can't remember seeing anybody dealt with for not claiming a stray. Money hits there income, strays are an inconvenience!
