fletch Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 what do you lot feel about birds with frilly breasts as racers as had a guy come the other day and said that he thought that they were no good for racing, But my theory is that is a lot of bull$£^* ! was just wondering what are other peoples views, here is the bird in question who i think is a lovely bird
Guest waynemorris Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 Used to have a pair of stock birds which did throw the odd frill breast and they were nearly always the best young birds we had

Guest bigda Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 sometime it aint a frill, just a row of feathers missing that makes it look like a frill :-/
gangster Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 i bred a light cheq frill hen and gifted it 2 my friend in anglesea and she was his best breeding hen until she died last year....old wives tale about frills.....
gangster Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 in fact the hens sire was same way bred as 2 npo winners out of 14.500 birds in each race...
