What did you learn about Homing Pigeons that you didn't know before? 1 racing pigeons have eeyesign as wild ones dont and there similar they both have feathers wings and can fly lol-2scientists dont really know there theories are they use the earths magnetic fields in a study done recently they said it was also by memory which i dont believe how can a bird find its way back from france by memory if its never been there, also they say pigeons can see the stars during the day and use them to navigate the truth is its a mystery-3a pigeon loft is where you house pigeons closed in-4 a roosting bird is a bird that is sleeping/resting-5 sparrow hawk, peregrin,gosshawk,-6 whatever seed you feed them on-7 whatever materials you provide them with-8 2 eggs-9 18 days-10 the young put there beaks in to the parents beaks and they regurgitate the food from there crops-11 its known as a life ring and its so they know who owns that pigeon its basically there birth certificate lol-12 they all different-13 you first have to get them out the loft flying round the loft and when they start to range its time to start basket training then take them a few miles untill they start coming steady then keep stepping them out-14 they got ther name because when people got them from others they kept coming home-15 nothing
