why did you take eggs away ? surely they should have had a pot egg to sit out the cycle? will a hen lay again within 10 days and if she does doesn't it set her back ? i'm not being critical...just curious

hi there i took the eggs away so that my hens would miss next weeks race due to being eggy and then  would be able to go to the next 3 or 4 races on eggs.
