so how come the best fanciers in ayrshire dont send?

 

Because the wind is generally  strong west /south west which flying into the far west with a small portion of pigeons sent from that area is a hard task for them and to be truthful it is hard not to blame them for not sending.

Other point would be that they dont get enough mileage into the young birds as many feds do including my own.
