Guest 67ghirl Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 I think this is a wonderful idea! I'm sure all those in receipt of these items will think so too Although I do think it's ridiculous that 'Basic' items are not supplied :-/
Guest strapper Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 i think its disgraceful that our soldiers fighting in a war has less than basic provisions. the ministers are ripping off the country with 2nd homes etc and not caring about the guys out there...as i said....DISGRACEFUL.
Guest Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 me and the wife done it for 5 scots(ARGYLLS) last year when our 2 sons were out there they do get supplied with most things but like everthing else there is some stuff that goes a long way when they are out in the f.o.b.s and there are allways the boys who for one reason or another are less fortunate than others and maybe dont have family at home we gathered stuff from local shops and made up parcels to send out if any of you that have been away from home you will know its not whats in them its the fact that when you get it it reminds you of home and will lift moral more than anything keep up the good work

The Navigator Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Great idea. We do not do enough for our troops. They are sometimes the forgotton people who do a great job. If they where fighting close to home it would change as they would have to look after certain people who hide behind a closed door.
