The cancer sale-update

Now that the successful sale arranged by Alvagate for Muscular Dystrophy has finished id just like to update where we are at with this sale.

 

Coming shortly will be a sale of 2009 latebreds and some older birds, bred by some of the top UK and irish fanciers.

 

After this sale, around November time, there will be a series of 3 sales. (PLEASE NOTE THESE SALES WILL NOT ALL BE ON  http://www.pigeonbasics.com, they will also be on http://www.pigeon-chat.com and http://www.thepigeonclub.co.uk.)

 

One of the sales will be advertised in the BHW for phone bids, then when the phone bids end time has passed the sale wil be online. The highest phone bid for a lot will be THE START price for that lot on the online sale. This is to obviously maximise the income for this worthwhile cause, and offer a chance to all the fancy to participate in the sale. The other sales will be online only, giving the members of online forums the chance to pick up some great lots.

 

If we get the support that the MD sale has just had then it will be absolutely fantastic.

 

We have already started to pay out money too. We recently had a donation from Steve Foster (sajfos) of a quality YB, this was sold £225. This money has now been passed on to Gail Jones (WHU) who is now raising money for the Velindre Hospital who treated Gail's dad before he recently passed away due to cancer.
