Is there any age limit on letting yb's out? I have had three in a hutch for the last 4 days and now they are in their lovely new home, was wondering how long to keep them in there before letting them out for the first time? gettig more this week so should Ijust wait until they are all ready to go out or will that be too long for the first ones to wait? :)

let them have a walk about the garden supervised ,use titbits to keep them on the floor but not to much or you will have no control over them also try offering them a bath .....pete

get them as tame as you can, eating from your hand and make sure they are hungry when you let them out so they will come to you/go back in when you want them to.

The longer you leave them in he more chance that when you first let them out they will be strong enough on the wing to get to far from the loft if they take up, and less chance of them finding their way back again IMO , get them out as early as possible after weaning so they can get a bearing on where they live and that way they can get up slowly on top of the pen and see round before they can go much further,

hope this is helpful ;)
