adobe softwere is the best there is i use cs8 ,its harder to use but once you master it nout will beat it,,

click on the link i sent you it will then come up run save close click run it will download follow the stages through then you should get a gimp2 desktop icon click onto that it should load up then mate just checked the link it works for me just uninstalled and re installed let me no if its not still working and i will look for another link for ya all the best mate.

Bakes is there any tutorials on cutting out your image for GIMP?

you use the swissor icon in the gimp toolbar mate then go around the area you aquire to cut then when you are happy press enter button it will then highlight the area you have cutted right click go to edit down to copy to then open up your background image then right click edit go to paste in to now you should have your pigeon you have cut with the background image in the same picture. all the best mate.
