I went to Aberdare and bumped into some nice people. Bilco, Duncan Cook, Gail Jones, Terry Tremeer and quite a lot more.

Gail pinched money for her charity before I could run.

The biggest trade seemed to on the food stall. I swapped my out of date Bricon Clock for a more uptodate one. The situation with the  ETS rings was a bit confusing. I had thought to get my supplies, but after seeing the possibilities and combinations, I decided to wait until the life rings are issued. Then, I will be able to work out the best option.

I bought a couple of mouse traps for my friend Jason. He will have to supply his own chocolate for bait. I like to eat it too much to donate it to his mouse bait.

So I went quite early and treated myself to a Kentucky Fried Chicken on the way home. I ate it in a lay-by and enjoyed every mouthfull. Things would have been perfect if I had'nt spilled the Coke all over the front seat of my car. So it is on to Telford for me now.

Yeah I purchased 6 nice birds from the Europa Auctions. They were 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 32nd, 40th and 54th in the Ace Bird standings going into the last race. Some of their results (hotspots only) were 2nd / 1104 birds, 6th / 1104, 15th / 815, 16th / 1020, 22nd / 1020, 31st / 1104, 31st / 815. They appeared to have mixed results in the final race, but thought if I purchased birds that were in the top 5% prior to this I wouldnt go far wrong. Going down again tomorrow especially for 1 cock and 1 hen I have ear marked! So fingers crossed.

Varied really, a couple brought £250ish, the majority around the £50-£80. Quite a lot unsold and returned to the loft for the Europa 500 as venturers.

Hey Boxer, I went to the Europa Sales again today and was speaking to Ron Bevan and Gareth Adams, he said he knew you.

I ended up purchasing Rons nest pair that finished 24th and 29th Open in the final race and also 9th and 17th Ace birds overall. I was well happy with that. I also purchased Ernie Goodyear's cock bird that finished 86th Open and was in the top 100 4 out of the 6 hotspot races including 9th Hotspot 100 miles.
