Guest Owen Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 I do not like feeders or drinkers that have corners. They are much too difficult to keep clean. I find the round ones best because there are no corners to attract the dirt. In regard to spillages. I feed my widowhood cocks in round feeders all the time. And they don't always like the feed that I put before them. Especially the barley. But I never really have much trouble with spillages because I always put just slightly more then they will eat into the feeding pots. And after they have eaten all they want, I empty the pots. By the time the next feeding time comes round they are keen to eat what they are given. It is much the same with the dogs. They are fed after the humans and after a period of about ten minutes any uneaten food is removed. That's if there is any uneaten food of course.
