saw these today think they are a good idea for breeding season as so much food gets wasted, so i bought some, does anyone use them and can tell me if they work

totally agree mate ive got them non spills pots in my nest boxs same as you feed but i feed my cocks in nestboxs hens in trough on floor in there section works ok for me so im sticking with it.

I do not like feeders or drinkers that have corners. They are much too difficult to keep clean. I find the round ones best because there are no corners to attract the dirt.

In regard to spillages. I feed my widowhood cocks in round feeders all the time. And they don't always like the feed that I put before them. Especially the barley. But I never really have much trouble with spillages because I always put just slightly more then they will eat into the feeding pots. And after they have eaten all they want, I empty the pots. By the time the next feeding time comes round they are keen to eat what they are given.

It is much the same with the dogs. They are fed after the humans and after a period of about ten minutes any uneaten food is removed. That's if there is any uneaten food of course.
