I was there, had a good day, met up with Paul Stokes, Tommy *Silverdale Lofts" John Kirkpatrick, Jon1978, Blythy1, KraftyKev, and last but not least pjc who I would like to say a big thank you to for taking the time to give the show racers I bought, the 'once over'. Purposely didn't take a lot of cash with me to stop me buying, but wish I had now, as I missed out on a cracking pair of Roland Jansens. Was a little disappointed with the amount of stalls there, but had a good day out.

Blimey pjc some journey for you??

That wasn't the best of it Mick, left here 3.45am, picked a chap up and his show team in the next village, then to Merthyr and collected another chap and his birds, got to Dancaster at 8. 10 past 8 my show partner rang who had the birds in his car was stuck a few hundred yards from a major accident on the M1 which was totaly closed for air ambulance to land.

At that point we hoped he would still get through as judgeing started at 9.30!

11.10 he was still sat in the same place on the motorway and hadn't turne a wheel!

Oh well, more chaufering duties!  :(

Nice meeting you Phil and your lovely daughter ( she was the best behaved child I have ever seen at a pigeon show, my 2 are murder, i was admiring some young bird no maize at Blackpool and along came my boy with an handful of widowhood mix just to give it a bit of colour ;D ;D).

It was a shame Les never made it, when we went home the tailback was about 5 mile long  :( :( :(

Look forward to our next meeting m8. ;) ;) ;)

I went.

Nice to meet Lenwade Bob, I had bought a bird from him which he kindly delivered to show, then bought a partner for it.

Mrs and Nipper spent the day Ice Skating so could wonder round in peace.

Nice venue although their could be a few more stands, some great birds on sale and probably some rubbish as well.

Saw one guy wanting oiver £200 for a 2001 cock!!

Real shame about the M1 took us 3 1/2 hours to get there, looked on the internet and apparently a man ran onto northbound carriageway from no-where, and with all the commotion there was a multicar pile up on both sides
