Gail J Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 As you all know I was at the Welsh Trust Show at Aberdare yesterday, armed with loads of my welsh cakes. Met pigeon man and thunder big paws, nice to put a face to the name. I must thank all at the show who kindly made donations for my welsh cakes in regards of this fund which amounted to £232, I also thank lenwadebob, Mick Bowler, Taffacre (Nigel) kraftykev, Chris Maidment and Jim 'echo' Dyer for their donations through auctioning pigeons, and many thanks to Messrs A & K Davies and K Jones. I am so pleased to tell you that I have reached my £1000 target and cannot thank you enough for your help. I was slightly short last night but our local Club in Maerdy has kindly donated the shortfall to make the £1000. In addition to that, the Welsh Trust show has also donated £1000 to Velindre, which is wonderful, after yesterdays show there are also other charities they are supporting and a full report will be in the BHW & Racing Pigeon.
