Guest bigda Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 would any feds allow, the use of both systems at once ie ets or manual, clock first birds to trap either with race rubber or ets having both systems set saving on the cost of the ets ring, or allow fanciers once registered as ets users then let them use race rubbers till, the open races come, what rule is there for this. we haven't got ets yet but was wondering what would the rule be on this issue :-/

THE FIFER Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 in scotland if a club has ets you cant stop anyone using a conventional clock, you can use any clock passed for use by the shu.
Guest frank dooman Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 are you talking about useing both in the same race danny or useing t3 one week then ets when it comes to the opens etc??
Guest bigda Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 in scotland if a club has ets you cant stop anyone using a conventional clock, you can use any clock passed for use by the shu. was wondering, could you be able to say number one clock ets or number 2 clock stb t3 and what bird came first was your clock so you would only need to put ets rings on the half of yer doos
Guest stb- Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 If the club has an ets marking station you can use what you want. I HAVE USED MY T3 ONE WEEK AND MY ETS THE OTHER. ;)
THE FIFER Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 you can set 2 clocks but you must say wich is 1 and 2 and you can only use number 2 if number i is faulty,
Guest frank dooman Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 no the no 1 clock has to be full or faulty before you can use your no2 clock
Guest stb- Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 was wondering, could you be able to say number one clock ets or number 2 clock stb t3 and what bird came first was your clock so you would only need to put ets rings on the half of yer doos NOPE YOU GOT TO NOMINATE YOUR 1ST CLOCK
DOVEScot Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 would it not be a good idea to put both ets and rubbers on a bird, that way if your ets fails for any reason you have your clock as a back up, the same as you have a standby clock in one goes faulty :-/
THE FIFER Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 i think this could only happen in nationals or opens where birds have a rubber on as well as ets,
Guest bigda Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 no the no 1 clock has to be full or faulty before you can use your no2 clock but if the first bird came with the race rubber on it and youn said the ets was not working fault what then
Guest frank dooman Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 was wondering, could you be able to say number one clock ets or number 2 clock stb t3 and what bird came first was your clock so you would only need to put ets rings on the half of yer doos just fork out for the ets rings ha misrible sh-- ;D ;D ;D

Guest frank dooman Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 you have to bring it to the club and it can be tested if not faulty all your clocks are out!!!!
DOVEScot Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 this happens in national races all birds has a rubber on, Thanks, then it would be easy to adopt down the line to club racing :-/
