Guest VINNIE Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 dear members as most of you can remember i ran a auction sale on behalf of pauline whitehead this was called the pauline whitehead electric wheelchair appeal ,i am so sorry for the delay in posting the following information due to being very busy with organising my eldest daughters wedding,i wanted to take a picture of pauline in her new chair but the time i was ready sadly she had an accident at home falling and hitting her face resulting in severe bruising to her face so i decided to wait until she was better, pauline was taken into hospital last weekend with a very bad leg infection and will most likely remain there over christmas a sad and very worrying time for all her family.i wish her a speedy recovery. below is a picture of the chair you members helped buy her ,i have also added the invoice and receipts of other disability aids to help pauline,as you can see i also paid 2 years sevice and 1 year insurance on the chair ,the other aids were a over bed table to make it easier to eat her food for the wheelchair,a disability spoon and fork,a long handled picker in case she dropped anything,a car swifel car seat aid to help her get into a car,a plastic plate surround for her dinner plate to stop food falling off her plate,i did take photo's of these but my camera broke losing all memory, there was £151 left over after buying what she needed ,i decided to donate to three charities this being the muscular dystrophy sale ran by ian carter(alagate)£51, the phoebe macaskill appeal fund run by ally macloud(pigeonbasics) £50 and the cancer sale run by mick bowler £50 who has asked me to send to the maddison staveley appeal fund being ran by pigeonforce (pigeonbasics) 3 very worthwhile causes, once again i wish to thank each and everyone of you who either donated or bidded or took part in the lottery bonus ball ets competition also special thanks to young sam smith for organising the est system from tauris once again sorry for the long delay in updating you have a very merry christmas to each and everyone kind regards vinnie
